🚨🇫🇷 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Hugo Lloris has RETIRED from the France national team!

The Tottenham Hotspur man explained that, out of respect for his team-mates and the manager, he would like to have time to go before the next international break in March.

The former Nice and Lyon goalkeeper's 145 appearances made him the Blues' all-time appearances leader, culminating in his performance at the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Lloris will also oversee the UEFA Champions League at home, where the team reached the World Cup final for the second time this year and won the Nations League.
The sole survivor of France's disastrous campaign in South Africa in 2010, Lloris gives the armband to Laurent Blanc, who succeeded Raymond Domenech after the game.
