Highlights: PSG 2-0 ANGERS
Lionel Messi, who returned to the team for the first time since winning the World Cup last month, was immediately involved in the opening game, spraying the ball out of the touchline and Hugo Ekiti's cross after only five minutes. The position played a beautiful shot.
It was a good first half for the Parisians, who lacked sharpness against a well-organized Angers side.Ekitiké came close to scoring his second goal on the restart but was blocked by the goalkeeper before Messi secured the win to end his comeback.
After a VAR check, he was nearly offside and turned Nordi Mukiele's pass into the corner to score. The result saw PSG clear six points at the top of the table, with second-placed Lens drawing 2-2 at Strasbourg.
