On the 19th match day of the Bundesliga, Augsburg scored a header at home by Berisha to help them get a much needed 3 points in the relegation battle against Bayer Leverkusen 1-0.

Leverkusen dominated the first half of the game, with Moussa Diaby using his pace to put the home side under great defensive pressure, and he nearly scored with a turnaround shot that hit the crossbar.

Leverkusen continued to press in the second half, with Mitchel Bakker and Diaby both threatening the home team's goal. Leverkusen brought on Florian Wirtz to try and break through the home defence but were unable to score in the end. With this win, they have 21 points and are five points ahead of the relegation zone.
