Chelsea agree to pay Aubameyang's entire £160k salary🤨

The 33-year-old, who appears to have no future in west London, was ruled out of the Blues' final game against Fulham and was also left out of Graham Potter's Champions League squad in order to make way for the new signing. Now, Spanish outlet Relevo is reporting that Chelsea are willing to pay Aubameyang's full £160,000-a-week ($193,000)-a-week salary ahead of his imminent move to LAFC.
Negotiations between the Gabon international and the MLS club began on Monday and are thought to have progressed throughout the week. The same outlet writes that current negotiations are for a loan deal until June, after which it seems almost certain that Aubameyang will leave the club permanently.
A move to the United States would end a period that was doomed for Chelsea from the start. Aubameyang was brought in at the specific request of Thomas Tuchel, but the German was sacked days later, and the 33-year-old has since scored just 17 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions. Now, LAFC appear to be the striker's only option after FIFA rules in January banned a move to Atletico Madrid or his former club, AC Milan.
