Formaer Ajax Boss Alfred Schreuder to Take Charge of Leeds United

Alfred Schreuder, the 50-year-old Dutch coach who was just fired by Dutch Eredivisie rivals Ajax last month, was photographed in the crowd at Leeds United's Premier League match against Manchester United. It is believed that he is likely to replace Jesse Marsch as the new coach of Leeds United.
Interestingly, he is the assistant of the current Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag in Ajax five years ago. In addition to Ajax, he has also coached Bundesliga side Hoffenheim and Belgian side Brugge, but his career at Ajax did not bring good results, as the team won only 11 out of 20 league games this season, leaving last season's champions in fourth place.

Leeds' management has approached several coaches in order to find the right person to lead the team out of the relegation zone. But the attandance of Alfred Schreuder at Elland Road in Sunday's game has got him considered a strong contender for the job. It is likely that he will take over the team before Saturday's visit to Everton in a relegation battle.
