Crystal Palace submit fresh bid for Ismaila Sarr

Crystal Palace have submitted a fresh bid to bring Ismaila Sarr to Selhurst Park in the summer transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed on X that the Eagles have offered a bid in the region of €14m plus €1m add-ons to sign the Olympique Marseille player.
The deal also included a sell-on clause for Marseille on future sales. Sarr has almost agreed a five-year contract with the French club.

FootMercato journalist Santi Aouna has shared the latest update on the deal. He wrote on X that “negotiation is in progress” at the moment, and Palace is in talks to secure the final terms of the contract.
Sarr has given his green signal for the transfer to go ahead. If he completes the move, he will sign a contract at Selhurst Park until 2029.
Aouna wrote: “According to English sources, Crystal Palace has just made an offer of 15M € to OM for Ismaïla Sarr. Negotiations in progress.

“As exclusively revealed, Crystal Palace and Sarr are negotiating the final terms of the contract. The Senegalese gave his OK to the English club.
“The Eagles offer a contract until June 2029.”
It appears that the Eagles are pushing for a deal to secure their third signing of the transfer window, and Sarr would be a fantastic addition to the squad.
The 26-year-old has a wealth of Premier League experience, having spent four seasons at Watford. Known for his speed, skill, and direct style of play, he should be a good fit in Oliver Glasner’s system.
Crystal Palace have money to spend this summer on the attacking midfield area, having sold Michael Olise to Bayern Munich.
The Eagles could lose more key players this summer, such as Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi, but they are under no pressure to sell any of them.
Marseille are trying to offload Sarr this summer, and Palace hope to reach a deal for the attacker shortly.
