Another goalkeeper appears on Chelsea radar, viewed as 'new Courtois'

Another day, another Chelsea transfer target.

Fabrizio Romano tweeted: "Chelsea are considering a move for 2005 born GK Mike Penders. Talks are ongoing with Genk, nothing agreed yet but club considering move for talented GK.

"It’d NOT impact Jørgensen deal, it’d be one for the future if Chelsea decide to proceed."

The 18-year-old has made only one senior appearance so far, keeping a clean sheet in Genk's 0-0 draw against Standard.

According to Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri, Chelsea have |defined Penders as likely potential new 'Thibaut Courtois' and got concrete talks with player's side in order to convince them."

Penders completed 100% of his passes in his only senior game so far, including 13 accurate long balls.
