Atalanta played a friendly match against Parma as part of their preparation for the new season.
The match was overshadowed by an unfortunate event for the Bergamo team. Early in the second half, Bergamo's forward Gianluca Scamacca sustained an injury and had to leave the field with the help of medical staff.
In one of the game episodes, the Italian collided with the opponent's goalkeeper and injured his knee.
According to insider Gianluca Di Marzio, the forward was taken from the stadium in an ambulance. The initial diagnosis is a sprain of the left knee ligaments.
