Gallagher to Atlético Still on, But Chelsea Insists on Separate Deals

The potential transfer of Conor Gallagher from Chelsea to Atlético Madrid remains on the table despite recent setbacks. According to reliable sources, the deal has not collapsed, but the English club is adamant that all transfers, including the potential return of João Félix, are independent transactions.

Atlético is currently working to finalize the Gallagher deal, with the necessary paperwork reportedly prepared. However, if the transfer is not completed, Chelsea has indicated that the midfielder will return to London.  

The situation has been complicated by the collapse of a separate deal for Atlético forward Samu Omorodion to join Chelsea. The two transfers were initially linked, with Omorodion's move intended to facilitate Gallagher's departure.
