Despite a tough season last year, Chelsea gave Pep Guardiola’s side a real challenge in every encounter. In the FA Cup semi finals, they only lost 0-1 and put in a strong performance, while in the league, they managed to take points from City twice (4-4 and 1-1). Interestingly, Raheem Sterling scored in both of those games against his former club. He also found the net in a recent friendly, although Chelsea lost that match 2-4.

Despite Chelsea's efforts, it’s unlikely they’ll be able to take points from City. At this point, the blues seem quite disorganized, and it’s hard to see how Enzo Maresca will find a solution for a positive result. Given the situation, we expect City to win in a high-scoring game, so we're predicting a score of 1-3. Additionally, we're betting on City scoring more than 1.5 goals, as Chelsea's defense has looked very shaky during the preseason.
