Ipswich Town, Chelsea agree Armando Broja move — reports
Entering the summer, Armando Broja was among those most likely to leave Chelsea, coming off of a disappointing campaign with the Blues and then on loan at Fulham (2 goals in 27 appearances combined).

It’s taken a while, but it looks like that expectation will indeed be fulfilled, with the 22-year-old striker agreeing to join Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town — initially just for the season, and then possibly turning that into a longer, permanent move.

According to multiple reports today (Tuesday), the two teams have agreed a loan with a conditional purchase clause. For the upcoming season, Ipswich will take Broja on loan and cover his salary, and if they manage to avoid relegation, the move will become permanent to the tune of £30m or so. Not bad!

Broja has shown himself capable of scoring at Premier League level, but the ACL injury he suffered a couple years ago has derailed things significantly. Hopefully he can get back on the right track with The Tractor Boys.
