Daniel Podence Completes Move to Al Shabab

Al Shabab have secured the signing of Daniel Podence from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a fee of €5 million. The Portuguese winger joins the Saudi Arabian club on a long-term contract, with a 35% sell-on clause included in the deal.

Podence, 28, spent four seasons at Wolves after joining from Olympiacos in January 2020. He made 165 appearances for the Molineux club, scoring 23 goals and providing 25 assists. The Portuguese international was a key player for Wolves during their Premier League promotion and subsequent seasons.

Al Shabab are one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabia and have been actively strengthening their squad ahead of the upcoming season. The signing of Podence is a significant addition to their attacking options.
