Newcastle United Cruise Past Manchester United at Old Trafford

Newcastle United extended their winning streak to five games with a convincing 2-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford, piling more pressure on beleaguered manager Ruben Amorim.  

The visitors took the lead early on when Alexander Isak headed home from close range, before Joelinton doubled their advantage shortly after.  

The result leaves Manchester United languishing in 14th place in the Premier League, while Newcastle climb above defending champions Manchester City into fifth.  

Amorim, who has overseen a disastrous start to the season, faces mounting pressure to turn things around. The Portuguese manager has come under heavy criticism from fans and pundits alike, with calls for his dismissal growing louder.  

Newcastle, on the other hand, continue to impress under Eddie Howe. The Magpies are now firmly in the hunt for a top-four finish and are also in contention for a place in the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League.
