Diallo's Late Strike Denies Liverpool Victory at Anfield

Amad Diallo's late goal earned Manchester United a deserved point as they defied recent form to hold Premier League leaders Liverpool to a thrilling 2-2 draw at Anfield on Sunday.  

Lisandro Martinez had given United the lead in the second half, but Cody Gakpo's stunning equalizer was followed by a Mohamed Salah penalty that looked to have secured victory for the hosts. However, Diallo's 80th-minute strike ensured that United left Merseyside with a point.  

The draw means Liverpool remain at the top of the Premier League, but their lead has been cut to five points. United, meanwhile, move up to seventh in the table.
