Real Madrid cruised into the last 16 of the Copa del Rey with a resounding 5-0 victory over fourth-tier minnows Deportivo Minera on Monday. Goals from Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and a brace from Arda Guler sealed the win for the Spanish champions.

The win was never in doubt as Real Madrid dominated the match from start to finish. They were clinical in front of goal and solid at the back. This victory will give Real Madrid a huge boost of confidence as they look to challenge for all trophies this season.

Real Madrid will now face either Barcelona or Athletic Bilbao in the next round of the Copa del Rey. The draw for the last 16 will be held on Friday, January 10.
