Newcastle United Rally to Defeat Bromley in FA Cup Thriller

Newcastle United overcame an early scare to defeat Bromley 3-1 in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday. The League Two side stunned the home crowd with an early goal, but the Magpies rallied with a strong second-half performance to secure their place in the fourth round.  

Bromley's Cameron Congreve opened the scoring in the eighth minute, giving the visitors a dream start. However, Newcastle responded quickly, with Lewis Miley equalizing just two minutes later.

The hosts continued to dominate possession, and their pressure paid off in the second half. Anthony Gordon converted a penalty in the 49th minute to put Newcastle ahead, and William Osula sealed the victory with a goal in the 61st minute.  

The win extends Newcastle's unbeaten run to eight matches in all competitions.
