Highlights: Liverpool Edge Brentford in Stoppage Time Thriller

Liverpool secured a dramatic 2-0 victory over Brentford in a thrilling Premier League encounter at the Gtech Community Stadium. Substitute Darwin Nunez was the hero, scoring twice in stoppage time to seal the three points for the Reds.  

The first half saw Liverpool create several promising opportunities, with Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai both going close. However, the score remained goalless at the break.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with Liverpool dominating possession but struggling to break down a resilient Brentford defense. Just when it seemed the game was destined for a draw, Nunez was introduced from the bench.

And the Uruguayan made an immediate impact. In the dying moments of the match, Nunez capitalized on a defensive error to slot home the opener. Moments later, he added a second to seal the victory and send the traveling Liverpool fans into raptures.

The win moves Liverpool seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table, while Brentford remain in mid-table.
