Record-Breaking Attendance! 2. Bundesliga Average Exceeds 30,000 Fans

On January 27, it was reported that in the 19th round of the 2. Bundesliga this season, an average of 35,830 spectators flocked to the stadiums to watch the matches.

A total of 322,468 spectators attended the nine matches, with the highest attendance recorded for the match between Hertha Berlin and Hamburg, which saw 71,500 fans at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. This figure broke the previous record of an average of 33,983 spectators set in the 24th round of last season.

Currently, the average attendance for the entire 2. Bundesliga season has surpassed 30,000 fans for the first time in history. After 171 matches out of a total of 306, the average stands at 30,329 spectators, compared to 29,290 fans per match in last year's record-setting season.
