Cristiano Ronaldo Open to Real Madrid Return?

Cristiano Ronaldo has left the door open for a potential return to Real Madrid, although not in the capacity of a player. The football legend admitted that he could one day make his way back to the Santiago Bernabéu, but likely in a different role.

Ronaldo, who is Real Madrid's all-time top scorer with 450 goals, played for the club from 2009 to 2018, helping them secure 16 titles during his time there. Now, as he approaches his 40th birthday on February 5, Ronaldo currently plays for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, with his contract running through the summer of 2025.

Despite being in the twilight of his career, Ronaldo remains in peak physical condition, capable of playing full 90-minute matches. Once his time in Saudi Arabia concludes, it’s widely expected that he will return to Europe.

Ronaldo hasn’t ruled out the idea of returning to Real Madrid, but he clarified that it would not be as a player. He mentioned that such a move could happen once his playing career comes to an end, suggesting the possibility of taking on a new role with the club in the future.

Having previously expressed interest in owning a club after retirement, some have speculated that Ronaldo might eventually take on a higher position within Real Madrid's management, perhaps even in the club's boardroom.
