AC Milan's recent 2-1 home loss to Lazio, marking their third consecutive Serie A defeat, has intensified fan unrest, with coach Sergio Conceicao describing the atmosphere as "unprecedented" in his career. The San Siro witnessed a wave of protests against the club's ownership, notably the Curva Sud stand remaining empty for the initial 15 minutes of the match.

"We discussed the atmosphere and this is the first time I've experienced this in my career," Conceicao told DAZN, emphasizing the heightened pressure on his players. "Mistakes weigh heavier under such conditions." He further illustrated the strain, stating, "When a dribble or a pass doesn't work or you're behind, it burns even more."

The match itself mirrored the tension. Mattia Zaccagni's first-half goal for Lazio compounded Milan's woes. Although Samuel Chukwueze managed a late equalizer following Strahinja Pavlovic's red card, Pedro's decisive penalty in the 98th minute, awarded after Mike Maignan fouled Gustav Isaksen, sealed Lazio's victory.

Conceicao acknowledged the players' sensitivity to the prevailing tension, stating, "It is not an easy moment. The players feel the tension around the club." He stressed the necessity of hard work and dedication to the club's colors as the path forward.

The defeat leaves Milan in ninth place with 41 points, having been surpassed by AS Roma. Meanwhile, Lazio's victory propelled them to fourth place with 50 points, placing them ahead of Juventus.
