J. Rodriguez Criticizes FIFA's Decision to Exclude Leon from Club World Cup

On March 29, FIFA officially announced that Leon has been excluded from the upcoming Club World Cup due to their affiliation with another Mexican team, Pachuca, under the same ownership group.

Today, J. Rodriguez responded to the exclusion during a press conference, stating, "This is unfair; it casts a shadow over football. Some fans have already bought tickets and may have gone into debt to do so. How do you tell them they can't go now?"

"I am very happy to be part of this club, and whether or not we participate in the Club World Cup won't change my desire to continue being here. I've never participated in the Club World Cup, but just weeks ago, they told you that you wouldn't be competing. I hope FIFA can do something about this."
