Manchester United Summer Transfer Plans Update

According to Alan Nixon from The Sun, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is keen to sign English midfielder Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace as a key addition this summer. Eze is believed to bring the attacking flair that United has been missing.
However, United's transfer plans may be impacted by Marcus Rashford's future. If they cannot successfully sell Rashford, they will face challenges against potential competitors like Aston Villa. United is confident that Eze's arrival would significantly enhance their attacking performance, and they are determined to secure his signing.
Eze has two years left on his contract with Crystal Palace, which includes an option for an additional year. His performances this season have undoubtedly attracted interest from multiple clubs, and Palace is prepared to accept offers around £50 million.
Amorim believes that Eze fits well into his three-forward system, and his goal-scoring ability and set-piece proficiency would provide a substantial boost to Manchester United. Meanwhile, Villa is also considering Eze, and if they fail to retain Rashford, they might shift their focus to him.
Moreover, United is contemplating a swap deal with Villa, potentially involving Rashford plus cash in exchange for Villa's English forward Ollie Watkins. With the summer transfer window approaching, United's hierarchy is ready to test Villa's resolve.
Eze will turn 27 in June and is at the peak of his career, making this transfer window critical for him.
