Persib Bandung Faces Player Absences Against Persita Tangerang

Persib Bandung will be missing four players for their match against Persita Tangerang at Indomilk Arena Stadium on Friday, May 16, 2025.

Ciro Alves and Edo Febriansah are unavailable due to penalties for accumulating red cards. Coach Bojan Hodak noted, "Nick (Kuipers) and Kakang (Rudianto) have also accumulated yellow cards," during a press conference at SPOrT Jabar Stadium on May 14, 2025.

Despite these absences, Hodak remains confident. "I will use the best starting eleven. We won’t conduct official training in Tangerang; we will continue training here," he stated.

Regarding David da Silva, the coach has not confirmed his availability. Last week, the Brazilian striker experienced some pain that prevented him from playing against Barito Putera. "We'll evaluate him in the next two practices. If he feels no pain, he can play. But if the discomfort persists, we won't force it," Hodak explained.

As for Dedi Kusnandar, he confirmed that the midfielder will not be playing yet, as he has just returned to training following surgery for a fibula fracture. "He will be ready for pre-season. This training is important for his confidence, as players coming back from injury sometimes struggle with that," he added.
