AC Milan Bid €30m for Club Brugge’s Rising Star Ardon Jashari

June 25, 2025 – AC Milan have submitted a formal €30 million bid for Club Brugge’s promising 22-year-old Swiss midfielder Ardon Jashari, according to recent reports from HLN. The defensive midfielder, who joined Brugge in July 2024, has emerged as one of Belgium’s top talents, earning the league’s Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards for the 2024-25 campaign. His impressive record of 5 goals and 7 assists in 38 matches underscores his versatility and skill.
However, negotiations may face hurdles as Club Brugge are holding out for a €40 million fee, reflecting Jashari’s growing market value and his contract, which runs until June 2029. The Swiss international, standing at 1.81m, is known for his ball control and vision, qualities that have also attracted interest from Manchester United. While the English club has held talks with Jashari’s representatives, he is not currently a priority signing for them.
This transfer aligns with a broader trend, as a 2023 UEFA study noted a 15% rise in transfer fees for young players since 2019, driven by mid-tier clubs reinvesting in their squads. The coming weeks will reveal whether Milan can meet Brugge’s demands or if a bidding war ensues.
