Saudi Club Al-Ittihad Signs 19-Year-Old Roger Fernandes from Braga for €34.5 Million

September 6th - Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad have officially announced the signing of 19-year-old forward Roger Fernandes from Portuguese club Braga.

In a statement released on Braga’s official website, the club confirmed: “SC Braga has reached an agreement with Al-Ittihad for the transfer of Roger Fernandes for a total fee of €34.5 million, consisting of €32 million fixed and €2.5 million dependent on team and individual performance-based variables.”

Roger Fernandes made his professional debut for Braga at just 15 years old and was widely regarded as one of the club’s most promising talents. During his time with the Portuguese side, he made 91 appearances and scored 12 goals.
