Sergej Milinković-Savić Commits to Al Hilal Until 2028 with New Contract

October 27, 2025 – Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić has signed a three-year contract extension with Al Hilal, securing his stay with the Saudi Pro League giants until June 2028. The agreement, finalized on October 26, replaces his previous contract, which was set to expire next summer, and underscores the club’s commitment to building a competitive squad.
Milinković-Savić, who joined Al Hilal from Lazio in July 2023 for a reported €40 million, has been a pivotal figure in the team’s success. The 30-year-old has recorded 21 goals and 16 assists in 64 appearances, showcasing his versatility and impact in the midfield. His renewal comes as Al Hilal continues to dominate domestically and compete in continental competitions, bolstered by stars like Neymar and Rúben Neves.
The extension was formalized in a ceremony attended by club president Nawaf Bin Saad, highlighting the significance of the move. Milinković-Savić’s decision to stay reflects his alignment with the club’s ambitions under coach Simone Inzaghi, with whom he previously worked at Lazio. This move also quashes speculation of a return to Serie A, particularly with Juventus, as Al Hilal solidifies its status as a powerhouse in Asian football.
