Bild Exclusive: Real Madrid Have Had Enough of Vinícius, Preparing to Sell Him Next Summer While Protecting His Value

November 5 – According to a latest report by Axel Hesse of German newspaper *Bild*, Real Madrid have grown tired of the repeated misconduct of their star forward Vinícius Jr. (25).
Per sources from *Sport Bild*, the Spanish capital club plans to sell the Brazilian star in the summer of 2026. This decision stems from an incident during the late October Clásico against Barcelona (a 2-1 win), where Vinícius strongly protested being substituted by manager Xabi Alonso (43) – yet again.
Real Madrid insisted on a public apology from him. Eventually, Vinícius did issue a public apology to the team and the coach.
Although Florentino Pérez has historically been protective of his players, Vinícius's recent series of transgressions have led to a rupture in his relationship with Alonso, and the situation has escalated beyond acceptable limits.
For Pérez, this is about demonstrating that the club's interests come above all else.
The Brazilian appeared unfazed by this, as seen in his first match after the Clásico controversy. During the 4-0 victory over Valencia, he took a penalty kick that was originally designated for Kylian Mbappé (26) – and missed it. Alonso ("It annoyed me") subsequently substituted him off.
The problem is: Vinícius's contract runs until 2027. Despite having decided to sell him, Real Madrid are still attempting to renew his contract.
The club hopes to do everything possible to prevent the star's market value from dropping due to further missteps. His current market value stands at €150 million. For Alonso, this means: Maintain a calm public demeanor.
