Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 954th career goal with a stunning bicycle kick as Al-Nassr defeated Al-Khaleej 4-1

The 40-year-old Portuguese forward produced a moment of individual brilliance in the 63rd minute at Al-Awwal Park, meeting a cross from the right with an acrobatic overhead kick that flew past goalkeeper Ibrahim Šehić into the top corner. The goal, Ronaldo’s 12th of the league season, extended Al-Nassr’s lead to 3-1 and effectively sealed the three points.
Ronaldo had earlier opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 28th minute after Sadio Mané was brought down in the box. Al-Khaleej pulled one back through Abdullah Al-Salem before the break, but second-half strikes from Otávio and Ronaldo’s spectacular effort ensured a comfortable victory that keeps Al-Nassr within touching distance of leaders Al-Hilal.
The bicycle kick drew immediate comparisons to Ronaldo’s famous effort for Real Madrid against Juventus in the 2018 Champions League quarter-final. At 40 years and 294 days, he became the oldest player to score with an overhead kick in Saudi Pro League history.
Al-Nassr return to action on Thursday against Al-Qadsiah, with Ronaldo now just 46 goals away from the 1,000 career-goal milestone.
