Real Madrid's 19-year-old Brazilian forward Endrick is set to join Olympique Lyonnais on a six-month loan deal starting in January 2026

Real Madrid's 19-year-old Brazilian forward Endrick is set to join Olympique Lyonnais on a six-month loan deal starting in January 2026, as confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano and corroborated by sources including ESPN and L'Équipe.
The agreement includes no option or obligation for Lyon to purchase the player permanently, ensuring his return to Real Madrid in June 2026. Lyon will pay a €1 million loan fee while covering half of Endrick's salary, with Real Madrid subsidising the remainder.
Endrick, who joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras in July 2024, has seen limited action this season under manager Xabi Alonso, accumulating just 99 minutes across three appearances with no goals scored. The move aims to provide the Brazil international with regular playing time in Ligue 1 and the Europa League, boosting his development and chances of selection for the 2026 World Cup.Lyon, currently competing in mid-table Ligue 1 under Portuguese coach Paulo Fonseca, view Endrick as a key reinforcement following summer departures in attack.
The young striker is expected to wear the No. 9 shirt and could debut as early as January 3 against Monaco. This loan reflects Real Madrid's long-term faith in Endrick's potential while prioritising his immediate growth in a less intense environment.
