January 16 – Following tonight's matches, the quarterfinal lineup for this season's Spanish Copa del Rey is now complete.

The eight teams advancing are:
- Real Sociedad (eliminated Osasuna)
- Atlético Madrid (eliminated Deportivo La Coruña)
- Athletic Club (eliminated Cultural Leonesa)
- Real Betis (eliminated Elche)
- Deportivo Alavés (eliminated Rayo Vallecano)
- Albacete Balompié (eliminated Real Madrid)
- Valencia (eliminated Burgos)
- Barcelona (eliminated Racing Santander)

The quarterfinal draw will take place on **January 19** and will determine the matchups for the quarterfinals and all subsequent stages of the competition.
