Yamal Shines as Perfect Barcelona Overcomes Levante in Six-Goal Thriller

Lamine Yamal scored twice to inspire Barcelona to a thrilling 4-2 victory over Levante on Sunday, maintaining Hansi Flick’s side's flawless start to the La Liga campaign with five consecutive wins.

Barcelona seized control immediately at the Estadi Ciutat de València, taking the lead after just five minutes when 19-year-old midfielder Xavi Espart’s deflected effort found the net. Yamal then doubled the advantage in the 19th minute, clinically converting a low cross from Raphinha. Shortly after the interval, the teenage sensation earned a penalty and confidently dispatched it to make it 3-0.

Just as Barcelona looked to comfortably coast to victory, Levante launched a spirited late comeback. Substitute Iván Romero clinical strike pulled one back in the 79th minute, before Brugué capitalised on a defensive lapse to score in the 88th minute, setting up a tense finale.

However, Barcelona killed off the comeback in stoppage time. Summer signing Karim Adeyemi produced a brilliant solo run, beating two defenders before driving a low shot into the bottom corner to secure all three points.
