Lamine Yamal Makes History as Barcelona Sweeps Aston Villa 3-0

FC Barcelona delivered a masterful performance at the Camp Nou on Wednesday, securing a dominant 3-0 victory over Aston Villa to end the English side’s perfect start to the Champions League campaign.
The Catalan giants needed just seven minutes to open the scoring. Following a defensive blunder from Aston Villa, teenage sensation Lamine Yamal pounced on the opportunity to slot the ball home. With this goal, Yamal made history by overtaking Kylian Mbappé as the highest-scoring teenager in Champions League history.
Barcelona completely controlled the rhythm in the second half, spearheaded by captain Raphinha. In the 52nd minute, the Brazilian winger precisely converted a brilliant pass from Fermín López to double the lead. Raphinha then sealed his brace in the 64th minute, capitalizing on a stunning outside-of-the-boot cross from João Cancelo.
Despite a few threatening counter-attacks from Villa, Barcelona goalkeeper Joan García stood firm to preserve a clean sheet. With this decisive win, Barcelona leaps to second place in the Champions League table with nine points, shifting Aston Villa down to third on goal difference.
