Barcelona Thrash Real Betis in Copa Del Rey

Barcelona cruised into the Copa del Rey quarterfinals with a resounding 5-1 victory over Real Betis on Wednesday night. Teenage sensation Lamine Yamal was the star of the show, scoring once and assisting twice as the Catalans put on a dominant display.  

The result never looked in doubt as Barcelona took an early lead through Gavi, who finished off a low strike from Dani Olmo's assist. Defender Jules Kounde then doubled Barcelona's lead with a powerful volley after Yamal had laid on a brilliant lobbed pass.  

Raphinha added a third goal for Barcelona in the second half, converting from a transition started by Yamal. Ferran Torres came off the bench to score the fourth and make it a rout, while Yamal added a fifth late on to complete a memorable night for the youngster.  

Barcelona will now face either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid in the quarterfinals.
