Pedri Signs New Contract with Barcelona Until 2030

The 22-year-old has overcome injury setbacks that had previously hindered his career and has now become a vital player under coach Hansi Flick. Flick recently shared that the new approach to managing Pedri's playing time has proven beneficial, with the consistent management of his minutes contributing positively to both the player's fitness and the overall team philosophy.
Pedri joined Barcelona from Las Palmas as a teenager, making an immediate impact with 52 appearances in his first season. He also participated in both the European Championship and the Olympics that same summer with Spain's national team.
After struggling with injuries over the next three seasons, Pedri is now fully fit and playing a crucial role again under Flick's guidance. He is approaching 200 appearances for Barcelona and has earned 30 caps for Spain, including contributing to their European Championship victory last summer.
