Hojlund Breaks Drought as United Deepen Leicester's Relegation Fears

Rasmus Hojlund ended his agonizing 21-game goal drought, spearheading Manchester United's comfortable 3-0 victory over struggling Leicester City. The win, secured at the King Power Stadium, further intensified Leicester's descent towards relegation. Hojlund's clinical 28th-minute strike, ending a wait of over 22 hours, provided the opener, capitalizing on Leicester's defensive errors.  

Alejandro Garnacho, also breaking a goal drought, doubled United's lead in the 67th minute, punishing more poor defending. Bruno Fernandes, instrumental with two assists, sealed the victory with a late third. However, United's triumph was marred by a potential serious injury to Ayden Heaven.  

The win lifted United to 13th in the Premier League, maintaining their momentum after Europa League success. Conversely, Leicester's woes deepened, their 13th defeat in 14 games leaving them second bottom and nine points from safety. They also set a top-flight record by losing seven consecutive home games without scoring, a testament to their dismal form. The Foxes were booed off by their frustrated fans.
