Ekitike in Demand: Striker Carousel Heats Up as Clubs Eye New Forward Options

On April 2, German media outlet Bild's chief editor Christian Falk reported that Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and AC Milan are all seeking a new striker for the number 9 position. Bayern Munich is also considering Frankfurt forward Ekitike as a potential replacement for Harry Kane.
In addition to Ekitike, other names like Isak, Cherki, Osimhen, and Šeško are part of the striker carousel expected this summer in the international transfer market.
Furthermore, there are ongoing rumors about Real Madrid superstar Vinícius potentially moving to Saudi Arabia, with reports suggesting that Madrid aims to negotiate a staggering €250 million deal.
With this amount, Madrid could seriously consider signing Haaland (24 years old, Manchester City). Frankfurt is already planning for Ekitike's departure and hopes to bring in Mainz striker Burkhardt as a replacement.
If the Frenchman is sold, Paris Saint-Germain would also profit, as Ekitike's former club has a sell-on clause and will receive approximately 20% of the transfer fee, while Frankfurt initially spent €20 million on the player.
Bild has revealed that Frankfurt believes formal contact or bids for Ekitike will only occur after the Club World Cup.
Frankfurt's current stance is as follows: they are preparing for two scenarios. If Ekitike leaves, their asking price will be €80 million; if he stays, keeping him for another year is also a viable option.
