Barcelona's UEFA Earnings Surge to €116 Million
As reported by Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona has secured €116 million in UEFA prize money this season. Following their recent elimination of Borussia Dortmund, the club gained an additional €15 million.

The report indicates that Barcelona earns €2.1 million for each match victory and €700,000 for draws during the group stage. Once in the knockout rounds, UEFA provides bonuses solely to advancing teams: reaching the semifinals grants an extra €15 million. This funding will fully contribute to the club's profits for the 2024-25 fiscal year.

So far, Barcelona's total earnings from UEFA do not include matchday revenue from home games. If they face Inter Milan or Bayern Munich on April 29 or 30, ticket sales are expected to boost income significantly. In the 2018-19 season, Barcelona's UEFA earnings approached €118 million, and they are on track to surpass that this season.

Under coach Flick, the breakdown of Barcelona's €116 million earnings includes a base revenue of €18.62 million as one of the 36 participating teams. Their impressive performance, with 6 wins (yielding €2.1 million each) and 1 draw (€700,000), along with a special allocation from UEFA's global prize pool of €665,000 for draws, has contributed to their total. Bonuses for reaching the quarterfinals (€2 million), round of 16 (€11 million), quarterfinals (€12.5 million), and semifinals (€15 million) are also included.

Additionally, the new "value pillar" revenue system, which blends traditional sponsorships and broadcasting rights with recent domestic and international performance, will further impact their financial outlook.
