UEFA Punishes Real Madrid for Racist Behavior of Fans

UEFA's Regulatory, Ethical, and Disciplinary Committee has announced a fine of €15,000 for Real Madrid due to racist behavior exhibited by their fans during the Champions League quarter-final match against Arsenal, which ended in a 3-0 victory for Arsenal.
Additionally, UEFA has prohibited Real Madrid from selling away tickets to their fans for the next UEFA match. This ban is effective immediately and will be enforced for one year.
It is noteworthy that this is the second punishment for Real Madrid this season related to fan behavior. Previously, during the Champions League knockout phase match against Manchester City, fans sang discriminatory songs targeting Pep Guardiola, resulting in a €30,000 fine and a partial closure of the Bernabéu stadium for two years.
