Erling Haaland Reaches 100 Premier League Goals in Record-Breaking Style

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland became the fastest player in Premier League history to score 100 goals, achieving the landmark during a thrilling 5-4 victory over Fulham at the Etihad Stadium on December 2, 2025.
The Norwegian international netted twice in the nine-goal encounter, taking his Premier League tally to exactly 100 in just 111 appearances—13 fewer matches than the previous record holder, Alan Shearer, who reached the century in 124 games for Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United.
Since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022, Haaland has shattered every significant goalscoring benchmark in the English top flight. He previously set records for the quickest to 20, 30, 40, and 50 Premier League goals, underlining his extraordinary efficiency with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.90.
At 25 years old, Haaland now sits 160 goals behind Shearer’s all-time Premier League record of 260. Given his current trajectory and contract with Manchester City until 2027, the former Salzburg and Dortmund marksman is firmly on course to challenge the historic mark in the coming seasons. The latest milestone further cements Haaland’s status as one of the most prolific finishers in Premier League history.
