Falk: Bayern Willing to Sell Palhinha to Tottenham for €20-25m

May 30 – Renowned journalist Christian Falk has written about several topics regarding Bayern Munich in his transfer column.
Arijon Ibrahimović Heading to the Premier League?
Confirmed: Bayern Munich have approached Premier League clubs regarding the sale of Arijon Ibrahimović. The plan is to generate funds through his transfer. Italian clubs have also shown some interest. After a steady loan spell at Heidenheim, Bayern feel the time is right to facilitate a move. The club are actively working on his transfer and welcome offers from Premier League sides.
Tottenham Want João Palhinha
Confirmed: The most likely outcome is that Palhinha stays at Tottenham. We know Spurs will remain in the Premier League next season. In the final match of the season against Everton, Palhinha scored a crucial goal that helped the team secure survival, celebrating passionately with the fans afterwards. He showed deep affection for the supporters, so it appears he wants to stay. However, I don't think the question is whether he stays at Tottenham, but rather how much Tottenham are willing to pay Bayern. They could simply activate the €30 million release clause – that would naturally be Bayern's preferred route. But I think Spurs will try to negotiate a lower fee.
Palhinha currently looks too expensive for Sporting CP. It's understood they initially tried to arrange another loan. So, if Tottenham can offer between €20 million and €25 million, the midfielder will stay in London. Bayern are also willing to let the Portuguese midfielder leave the Allianz Arena permanently.
