Leeds Stun Manchester United at Old Trafford with Okafor Brace

Relegation-threatened Leeds United pulled off a stunning 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday night, ending a long drought against their rivals and delivering a major blow to the hosts' season ambitions.Noah Okafor was the hero for Leeds, scoring twice in the first half to silence the home crowd. The Swiss forward opened the scoring in the 5th minute with a clinical side-foot finish from a cross, before doubling the lead in the 29th minute with a powerful strike that took a deflection off Leny Yoro.
Manchester United, coming off a 24-day break without competitive action, struggled to find rhythm early on. Their woes deepened in the 56th minute when defender Lisandro Martínez was shown a straight red card by referee Paul Tierney for pulling the hair of Dominic Calvert-Lewin – a decision confirmed via VAR review and widely criticised by interim manager Michael Carrick as "shocking" and one of the worst he had seen. Martínez will now miss the next three matches.
Despite being reduced to 10 men, United showed fight. Casemiro pulled one back in the 69th minute, sparking hope of a comeback, but Leeds defended resolutely to secure all three points. The result marks Leeds' first league win at Old Trafford since 1981 and provides a huge boost to their survival hopes. For Manchester United, the defeat raises fresh questions about their form and consistency as they chase a top-four finish.
